Expanding the SMARTLABOR Network for Agri-Food Innovation

🤝 We’re pleased to announce that we’ve signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Rural Development Network of North Macedonia (RuralNet). Together, we’ll strengthen innovation, digitalization, and skills in the agri-food sector across the Western Balkans.

🔗 This collaboration aligns with the SMART Balkans initiative and our SMARTLABOUR project, which brings together expertise to co-create better policies and practical solutions for the agri-food value chain.

What the MoU covers

•  Joint actions supporting rural communities, SMEs and “smart villages” (agri-food, entrepreneurship, innovation).
•  Mapping digital skills needs and piloting data-driven, evidence-based policies.
•  Co-created events, workshops, and pilots to test practical solutions across the agri-food value chain.
