IMPETUS Contributes to Regional Cybersecurity Dialogue at CyberPulse2025

Yesterday, the High-Level Conference #CyberPulse2025 convened leading voices in cybersecurity from the Western Balkans and the European Union. Organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) in partnership with the Government of Montenegro and the European Commission’s DG ENEST, the event set the stage for coordinated action to reinforce the region’s cyber resilience.
The program opened with keynote addresses by:
- Amer Kapetanović, Secretary General, RCC
- Filip Ivanović, Deputy Prime Minister, Government of Montenegro
- Michael Docherty, DG ENEST, European Commission
- Gilles Schwoerer, Head, Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C)
Their remarks underscored the critical importance of public-private collaboration, capacity-building initiatives, and policy alignment to effectively confront emerging cyber threats.
IMPETUS was represented by Liljana Pecova Ilieska and Solza Kovachevska, whereas through interactive discussions and networking, our team contributed insights on leveraging cyber policies and innovative training models to strengthen regional cyber defenses.
