In Macedonia, every year in the period 2008-2017, there were an average of 4,141 traffic accidents in which there were deaths, serious and / or slightly injured persons (which do not cover traffic accidents with material damage). An average of 158 people lost their lives, and 6,285 people were seriously and slightly injured.
